Stacia Fridley, LMSW & Reiki Master Practitioner
I earned a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from Grand Valley State University in 1996 and I am a licensed Clinical Social Worker (LMSW). Over the past 23 years, I have helped many clients with various mental health issues and learned from skilled professionals about different treatments and the biology of mental health. These experiences have deepened my understanding of people mentally, emotionally, and biologically.
My goal is to provide a calm and comforting environment for my clients. I aim to help them understand their symptoms, find peace, grow personally, gain confidence, and discover a stronger sense of purpose. Learning to recognize and manage fears, along with unhealthy thoughts and behaviors, can change lives.
I am easy-going, kind, honest, and open during our sessions. I enjoy working with older teens and adults facing a range of mental health challenges, including depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, panic attacks, postpartum issues, OCD, borderline personality disorder, and mood disorders. I assist individuals dealing with both mild and severe issues, as well as those facing stressors or life changes.
I use various treatment approaches, including CBT, DBT, Family Systems, and Mindfulness. Additionally, I am a reiki master practitioner and believe reiki can be a valuable tool for healing the mind, body, and spirit. The main goal of reiki is to reduce stress and promote healing by balancing energy levels in the body, enhancing overall well-being and self-healing.
